OUR STORY

CHICNICITY was created by a group of friends who wanted to be “Chic in Their Ethnicity & in the City” and they could not find everyday clothes that represented their ethnic, but modern & dynamic lifestyle.

Since CHICNICITY launched in July, 2017, it has been worn by major fashion & social media influencers. Their clothes are currently being stocked in boutiques in the US, South America & Nigeria. 

​Boye "Bibi" Asenuga is the CEO/Co-Founder of CHICNICITY. She is an Apparel Development and Production Consultant, with over 15 years of experience in the fashion industry. 
She is a trained lawyer and a proud alumna of School of Fashion Design, Boston and Fashion Institute of Technology, New York.
She is the recipient of "The 2020 Distinguished Alumni Award" from her Alma Mater, the prestigious School of Fashion Design, Boston.
